FAQ'S
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
We believe that everyone deserves quality dental care so we offer a
no-interest patient financing program to help you get the treatment
you need through Carecredit. Payment is expected at the
time of service. We can also help you figure out how best to
spread needed treatment out over a period of time
to fit your financial situation.
If you have insurance we will go the extra mile to help you maximize
your benefits. Regardless of what we may calculate your
insurance company to pay, it is only an estimate.
You will be expected to pay an estimated portion that is not
covered by your insurance at the time of service.
We offer several payment options:
Cash
Personal Checks
Credit Cards: Discover, MasterCard, or Visa
Patient financing options: Carecredit
If you have any questions about your insurance plan or payment options, please call our staff at (904) 259-4649 or e-mail us at office@macclennydentist.com
Do you offer sedation?
We get asked this question alot. Many people have a fear of the dentist. We offer oral sedation (pill) and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for a small fee.
We want your experience to be as relaxed & comfortable as possible.
Simply ask us about it at your appointment.
How long will a new patient exam last & what's involved?
Our new patient comprehensive exam takes approximately one hour. During your first visit with us we will address your initial concerns and desires and also gather your current medical and dental history. In addition we will take any necessary x-rays, assess any existing and needed dental work, complete a periodontal (gum)
exam, and an oral cancer screening.
Will Dr. Weeks or a dental Hygienist clean my teeth?
We have a team of highly respected and experienced hygienists who will be cleaning your teeth. They are trained in the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities, gingivitis, and periodontal disease.
What is your "conservative
approach" to dentistry?
As our patient you become part of our dental family. That means that we pride ourselves
on not recommending any treatment that we would not for ourselves or our own children.
We strive to be less invasive and to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible.

Will i be given different treatment options & will my choices be explained?
Dr. Weeks will happily explain why he is recommending the treatment, what the treatment is,
and how it works. He will explain the alternatives and choices you have (including
potential consequences of not having the treatment). He will address the pros and
cons of available treatment options and most importantly, what option he would
choose for himself if it was his mouth.
